Ovis, is a mammal from the goat-antelope subfamily. It is a stumpy sheep with double hooves. Here at Hisarüstü, it has become the main of a brand of coffee brought to us by three young entrepreneurs from different backgrounds. The brand gets its corporate identity from the physical appearance of this large sheep and the interior design was based on the properties of the habitat it lives in.
On the Ovis logo, you can see a set of horns, the image of the coffee cup in the middle, forms a face with a jacket and a tie creating the image of a gentleman. This logo symbolises the three entrepreneurs. They wanted to symbolise the brand of their coffee with an animal indigenous to North Cyprus known as the muflon on the island but as the Ovis around the world. Crude and natural materials and also colours from this endangered species’ natural habitat have been used in the interior design.
The entrepreneurs preferred to arrange sitting areas for people who are working alone and enjoying their coffee or for people sitting in large groups. All the tables have the same design and are fixed to the floor but the furniture is practical and can be moved around making it easier to host a large group of friends. The sincerity of the island and the way people enjoy sitting outside to enjoy the Mediterranean climate inspired the design of the place. The doors and windows were made to connect the indoor and outdoor areas.
It is the team spirit which makes the Ovis Coffees brand successful today and creates the potential of becoming a chain brand. This is a single dream of three different backgrounds. This brand was created after an analysis of people and their needs and professional help was obtained while choosing a good location.

These three men combined their love for coffee and their promoting skills by travelling abroad to different cities learning how to make coffee. Their greatest desire was to spread the culture of coffee and offer people good quality coffee. Ovis coffees aimed to become a brand from the very beginning and built the business on this principal. You can sense this as soon as you walk in to Ovis coffees. Ovis has gained interest with the specific way it serves coffee. It is a place to try many aromas brewed with different techniques. You must try Ovis’ speciality San Sebastian Cheesecake and its famous and unique Tiramisu.
Nitro Coffee
It is based on the classical cold coffee brewing technique but the most important difference is that the coffee is brewed with cold water for 12 to 24 hours and is infused with nitrogen gas for 16 hours. This brings out 30%-40% more caffeine from the coffee. This technique creates a weak coffee with a high level of caffeine.
Tiramisu
Ovis has created its own version of the Italian tiramisu, with its unique flavour and presentation it gives you maksil tiramisu. It brings out the best of a cup of coffee and has already become the favourite of many.
San Sebastian Cheesecake
This cheesecake originates from the city of San Sebastian in Spain and is simply to die for. This dessert goes well with a cup of coffee, but you must remember not to compare it to the familiar taste of cheesecake you are used to.
