We interviewed Özlem Özbek Eminoğlu who is the manager of Magic Touch Group’s and newest Magic Sale Office, which provides services all around the island. We talked about the new offices and Mehmet Eminoğlu Investment’s projects.

• We can see that you are using the hashtag #CALLNOW and we would like congratulate you on your Magic Sale Office and wish you the best of luck. How has it worked out so far and why has Mehmet Eminoğlu Investment felt it necessary to open a Sales office?

Thank you. Just like any other sector, it’s true that you need luck to overcome the ups and downs of the property sector. At the moment, Eminoğlu Investment is managing 13 different projects and at this stage it is not possible to work only with the authorized agencies. Having said that, after the construction demand in the Kyrenia area increased, so did the foreign exchange rates which caused a sudden decrease in sales. Magic Sale Office is not an estate agency. It works as a call centre which creates a platform for customers to contact all estate agencies. Our company CEO, Emine Seyitoğlu and I are managing Magic Sale Office’ and have received much positive criticism and feedback.

• Would you call this a change of heart? In other words, your eye-catching and unique architectural designs used in projects were always liked. Will being this closely involved with potential buyers change this characteristic of Mehmet Eminoğlu Investment projects?

We will always pursue with our unique architectural designs. Mr. Eminoğlu is a civil engineer with a specific vision and works with many successful architects. The main characteristic of our projects is that they are different. Not just in architectural design but also in the lifestyle they offer. We must bare in mind that the first residential project on the island was created by Mehmet Eminoğlu Investment. Although that was five years ago, the project still maintains all its properties. Being closely involved with buyers is a huge advantage. They will be able to get information about our projects first hand from Magic Sale Office and will be directed to the right estate agencies.

• Let’s talk about your current projects on sale. Which projects would you recommend to people who call Magic Sale Office?

Our latest project is Magic Templos Villas in the Zeytinlik area. Many people have been interested in this project. Also we have our Magic Loft project which again is first of its kind on the island. We have two ultra luxurious Magic Bella villas with smart house technology in the Bellapais area. Magic Palace has a unique architectural design and is located on the main road. Also located on the main road we have Magic Asia which is still under construction. Magic Kayla, Magic Twins, Magic City, Magic Hill, Magic Bussidence are still ongoing projects.

• On page 80 of our latest issue, we mentioned your project Magic Hill in our article "Seafront Life is Under Construction in North Cyprus". It has now become one of the most sought after sites in the Esentepe area. Could you give us more information on prices and the lifestyle offered?​​

Magic Hill and the Esentepe area is something we have not tried before. There are different types of houses to choose from and the prices change accordingly. For more details, you can visit our website or call us. Magic Hill has an exclusive location and we are aiming to complete this project in two years. Magic Hill is our first project in this area. But it certainly will not be our last. We are preparing to invest in the Bahçeli area as well.

• You have started on a new Business centre project and have begun to promote your new generation house-office project. May we have some details of the project?​

Our new business centre project has been named Magic Bussidence. There are many similiar projects overseas. Working people are offered residential comfort in an home-office environment. In other words, we are planning a business centre which will offer the services of a residence. Our aim is to focus on certain professions if possible. For example, many private clinics for doctors. Only time will tell. Being the first to do something has its advantages and disadvantages. Yet Mr. Eminoğlu takes serious risks and has the experience of being a self made investor. His greatest advantages are his broad vision, being a civil engineer and having a strong sales team at Magic Touch. I would also like to add that, we are not afraid to invest in our country. Our efforts will be hope for our children and this island.

• Meanwhile, we know that people have started to live at Magic Plus and that the shops are opening one by one,  you are offering residential services which are unheard of. What do the residents have to say about these services?

Magic Plus is very special to us. It is a priceless investment for Kyrenia. We are proud of the compliments and praise we are getting from those who have seen the inside of the project. People started to move in 8 months ago. But not all of the flats and the shops are occupied. It will probably take another 3 to 4 months for everyone to settle in. Those who have moved in are very very happy. Flats sold during the construction have already doubled in value. From the hairdresser to the indoor and outdoor pool, to the spa and the cinema, every corner is spectacular. Even I want to live there.
