For today's interview, we are with Zarif Noyan, Sales and Marketing Director of Noyanlar Group of Companies, a company with a rich 50-year history. She will provide insights into the developments and investment processes in the construction sector, especially during the pandemic and beyond, and also discuss Noyanlar's new investments.

How did you come up with the idea of investing as Noyanlar Group of Companies, one of the first companies that come to mind when we say İskele Long Beach region and your adventure of coming here with a visionary approach?

The Noyanlar Group of Companies has been contributing to these lands for a full 50 years, being a well-established family company that has played a role in the country's economy. As you may know, when companies grow, they often need to take radical steps that can be considered risky at certain critical points. In the early 2000s, due to the favorable investment environment, our company shifted from Gazimağusa to the İskele region and built residential complexes within walking distance of the sea. Our housing developments have provided both local and foreign customers with the advantage of living in a peaceful and enjoyable environment, encouraging them to become homeowners with our company. This, of course, motivated us to undertake even more beautiful projects. 

For my husband, Ahmet Noyan, and myself, the development and becoming a focal point of Iskele Long Beach began as a dream, and seeing the realization of an investor's dream brings a sense of satisfaction.

Especially through coordinated efforts with the municipality and the district governorship, we believe we have contributed to making İskele a center of attraction by embellishing the Long Beach shore, creating parks and walking paths, and ensuring a clean beach. Additionally, we express our willingness to collaborate with the government to address infrastructure deficiencies in consultation with new investor companies coming to the region.

Recognizing our shortcomings and continuing to grow by meeting our needs is crucial. We are aware that while elevating the interests of the region, we must also uplift the entire country, preserving nature and green spaces. In doing so, we emphasize the importance of collective action, sharing both responsibility and pride. We are confident that we are in the right place with the right goals.

Could you tell us about your new investments and ongoing new projects? 

As I begin my words, I would like to emphasize that having a strong family structure and support, along with working with professional team members, undoubtedly leads to success. The success graph resulting from reaping the fruits of the journey we have undertaken to establish a corporate structure for our family business has driven us to invest in other regions with a visionary perspective.

If we were to divide our investments, the first category would be the projects we carry out within our own organization, and the second would be projects with our partners. In the İskele region, we are particularly ambitious about our new project, Ocean Life Residence. In the heart of this project, there is a magnificent yacht with a restaurant and suites for our guests. Surrounding it, there are semi-Olympic swimming pools, aqua facilities, open and covered parking lots, a 440-meter shopping avenue, stores, cafes, walking and cycling paths, green areas, children's parks, restaurants with world cuisines, and a special aquarium restaurant on the basement floor. Other projects in this area include our Bellagio brand project, consisting of 281 residences, which we believe will elevate the quality of the region. It features a restaurant, bar, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, children's play areas, a gym, indoor and outdoor parking, a spa, a sauna, and a Turkish bath. Another new investment is Sea Breeze, a 224-unit project featuring studio and studio penthouse apartments, along with a pool, restaurant, and outdoor parking.

Currently, residents of all homes in Long Beach and locals in the region can benefit from the services of the Long Beach Medical Center, a facility with fully equipped and experienced doctors, with which we have a partnership in İskele. Additionally, our concept patisserie café, ZAGIDAS, with its ambiance and flavors, attracts attention from all over the island.

And for us, there is a new excitement as we have started the construction of our project, The Olea Cyprus, in Geçitkale, another special region for our company apart from the İskele area. The first of our four different projects in Geçitkale is the OLEA Residence housing project, which will consist of 640 residences and 12 shops. Emphasizing the importance of the olive tree, which has influenced the lifestyle of Cyprus specifically and the Mediterranean culture in general with its legends and beauty throughout the ages. The project will feature expansive green areas, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, walking and cycling paths, a Wellness Center with a spa, massage, and gym. The Olea Residence housing project is strategically located, with a 10-minute distance to İskele Long Beach, 15 minutes to the North Coast, 20 minutes to Ercan Airport, 15 minutes to Famagusta, and 25 minutes to Nicosia. The success in the sales of the first phase of this project, which is currently attracting the attention of both foreigners and locals, has led us to open sales for the second phase in a short period.

Could you tell us about your social responsibility projects?

The education of young people and children is of great importance to us, and we strive to contribute within the scope of our capabilities to meet the needs of schools in our region, such as classrooms and similar requirements. Additionally, we support children of school age who may lack resources at the beginning of the academic year.

Furthermore, we make contributions to young people in areas where they excel. Each year, as a tradition in April, our company organizes the Long Beach Run event under the leadership of our Sales and Marketing Vice President, Doğa Noyan. This event aims to promote sports and a healthy lifestyle. The entire proceeds from this year's event have been donated to the Şampiyon Melekleri Yaşatma Derneği (Champion Angels Foundation), established by the families of our Champion Angels, whom we lost not long ago, deeply affecting all of us.

First of all, I would like to thank you for giving me this opportunity. We, as investors in our country, have made it our mission to spend what we earn for the development of our nation. Therefore, we proudly hold the title of tax champions among the companies in the construction sector in recent years. Our country is a beautiful island with a livable climate in every aspect. I believe that if we systematically plan and design this beautiful island with its infrastructure, superstructure, culture, nature, beaches, and climate, we can turn it into a more livable paradise.
