While looking through a global magazine published in America we came across a familiar name: 2019 Propertync Best Franchise Estate Agency Award winner Coldwell Banker Maximum Broker Aylin Pelin Onar... We know that Ms Onar is well known in the property sector in North Cyprus, but to see her in this article mentioning North Cyprus and Turkey made us proud. Therefore, we wanted to find a convenient space in her schedule and sit down and chat with her.

• Before we talk about the award you won at the Propertync Awards 2019, we wanted to ask you about this article. Who did you mention and what did you say in the article?

Until now, Coldwell Banker Maximum has been in many global magazines. For example, The New York Times, Home & Estates Magazine and even has been mentioned in the blog pages of Global Luxury. Global Luxury Report is the only luxury home magazine issued in 135 countries with 85 million readers. It is here that I was given the opportunity to talk about the dynamics of the property sector in North Cyprus as a Luxury Home Instructor. This is because, we are experts in luxury home properties and also because we are considered to be the best property professionals around the world. It is a privilege to be part of this platform because this magazine is updated once a year and is read by everyone interested in the property sector. We are happy to have had the chance to introduce North Cyprus to this magazine.

• We can feel the global strength of this blue brand but what do you have to say about being chosen as the Best Franchise Estate Agency?

As Coldwell Banker Maximum, we are a brand that has set certain goals for ourselves. We aim to not only present ourselves at organisational events taking place in North Cyprus and Turkey but also we want the whole world to know who we are and hopefully break new grounds. For example, we have organised events such as launch evenings and turn key ceremonies that have not been done by many companies. On the other hand, in 2017, I had the opportunity to introduce North Cyprus and Turkey in Las Vegas where I was the first female speaker amongst the global property companies present. A similar opportunity at Las Vegas came about this year and again I had the chance to introduce our country in the best way possible. I believe that the service quality presented to clients has now improved due to the speeches made during this event.
Of course events like these are why we are known as the best. However, Coldwell Banker has a history of 115 years. It is the world’s most trust-worthy, wellknown, established brand in the property sector. We are proud to be able to continue this tradition of 100% customer satisfaction in North Cyprus. We are very happy to be North Cyprus’s Best Franchise Estate Agency.

• Can you tell us a bit about how you work? We now know that property consultants like yourself do not only sell houses. We were wondering how you guide investors and contractors (builders).

At the moment, our team consists of 25 people. We have an interior designer, architect, civil engineer, legal counsellor, lawyers and financial consultants all of who are highly educated. In other words we can provide clients who visit our office with services from a to z. We are not just a sales office, we are an office capable of providing fully equipped property support and I believe we have the experience and power to do so. This speciality separates us from other companies (firms) in this sector and also increases our reputation globally.

• Congratulations again on your award, we wish you the best of luck. We believe that you will continue to show you are the best and will add to your list of successes. Is there anything you would like to say about the Propertync Awards event?

We were not only chosen as the best in North Cyprus. We were also chosen as Premier Office internationally and last year we won first place in the Turkey property sector where we participated with our best consultant and competed against 150 offices and 1500 consultants. Our consultants were awarded first, sixth and ninth prize. Also, our office was awarded Best Customer services Coldwell Banker Office in the years 2015-2016-2017 and 2018. And now we will continue to work hard, improve ourselves and set new examples by breaking new grounds in order to be worthy of this Propertync Award. I would like to thank you for this. Propertync Magazine is the only property magazine in North Cyprus and has been keeping track of the market for many years whereas the Propertync Awards is an event not just in North Cyprus, Turkey or even at European standards, it can be classified as a world standard event. We are proud to be amongst the best of the Propertync Awards and would like to thank you once again for giving us this honour.
