Greener, Newer, Better Projects From Dörter Construction
The Yeniboğaziçi area, located in the Famagusta district, is known for being one of the most beautiful areas on the island and is rapidly developing as an area offering good investment opportunities. Information previously given on residential projects and investment opportunities in the area can be accessed on the propertync.com web portal, but in this issue we are focusing on projects in the area undertaken by Dörter Construction.
The second stage of the 4ever Green Project, the initial construction of which started last year and sales completed, is now for sale!
4ever Green consists of 25 residences, situated on a 12,400 m2 plot and includes a landscape design created with a mixture of more than 2,000 tree and shrub saplings. This is Dörter Construction’s first project in the area, offering five different types of residences, of which 3 are villas. The project also claims to be the first project in the area to reduce the carbon footprint. The second stage of the project was brought to life by adding 6 more of the most demanded villa types to the adjacent 3,200 m2 parcel of land. As a result of the attention received, Dörter Construction has increased its investment in the area by contributing to the Yeniboğaziçi community beach and building a children’s playground!
In addition to these contributions, Dörter Construction’s remit of using environmentally friendly materials in its projects, and its mission of minimising the destruction of nature caused by construction, has been warmly appreciated by the communities on the island.
During our interview with Company Director, Metin Dörter, we were given more information about the company’s plans for 2022 and the new projects based in the Yeniboğaziçi area. He emphasised his excitement regarding the sales for two of the company’s new projects in Yeniboğaziçi and announced the beginning of a future project in the same area during the year. He also gave us details on the Olive Court Project, which came about due to the demand for loft type flats which were originally included in the 4ever Green scheme.
Olive Court will consist of 14 two-storey blocks with a total of 56 flats, including 3+1, 3+1 loft and 2+1 loft options. The Yeniboğaziçi area is restricted to only 2 storey structures, therefore the architects at Dörter Construction have carefully designed spacious and modern lofts suitable for all needs.
The company plans to plant at least one olive tree for each flat at the project, as the Cyprus olive was the inspiration behind the Olive Court Project.
Metin Dörter dreams of future homeowners being able to produce their own olives and olive oil from these trees. The project is located on a 12 donum parcel of land and includes 2 separate river pools, green areas and social areas around them. Moreover, a sports facility with a spa, Turkish bath and indoor pool will also be included in the project.
Elsewhere, the other new project will consist of 9 white villas which will be fitted out according to individual tastes, rather than having an overall site concept. Each villa will have the option of a private pool or large private garden. This project was inspired by the Type A villas in 4ever Green and the luxury 3-bedroom villas built on 450 m2 of land have already caught the eye of many investors.
Creating a new atmosphere at Yeniboğaziçi with its architectural vision, Dörter Construction will be adding to the number of its projects in the area.
In addition, from the information we received from Metin Dörter, a record attempt will be made in terms of sapling donation to the Yeniboğaziçi Municipality in 2022. This donation will hopefully raise awareness of the importance of reducing the carbon footprint in the area.
