This area, one of the Cittaslow (slow city) settlements of the island, includes the antique Salamis ruins and is a piece of heaven with beautiful beaches and green nature. Yeniboğaziçi is located between İskele and Famagusta and grows every day. The town is called Aysergi by the locals and is only a 10-minute drive to either city yet you can find all your daily needs at the Yeniboğaziçi center.
The settlement generally consists of detached villas however a few multi storey residences and apartments have been built for those who prefer to live closer to the city centre of Famagusta.
