    Yeniboğaziçi | Slow City Is Growing Quickly



    The Venetians built their civilizations here for future generations, the Ottoman Empire ruled here for centuries and introduced their traditions. It is here that we fell in love with the sea and nature.

    This area, one of the Cittaslow (slow city) settlements of the island, includes the antique Salamis ruins and is a piece of heaven with beautiful beaches and green nature. Yeniboğaziçi is located between İskele and Famagusta and grows every day. The town is called Aysergi by the locals and is only a 10-minute drive to either city yet you can find all your daily needs at the Yeniboğaziçi center.

    The settlement generally consists of detached villas however a few multi storey residences and apartments have been built for those who prefer to live closer to the city centre of Famagusta. During the past few years, there has been a controlled growth in the east of Yeniboğaziçi towards the sea. The majority of the land has equivalent (exchange) title deeds from when the Greeks used to live in the area and the rest are Turkish title deeds.

    The Salamis Ruins, Salamis Bay Conti Hotel & Casino, Melandra Culture House, Oscar Park Hotel, Aytotoro Meyhane and Kocareis Beach are some of the popular places in the area. However, now new projects in the area are gaining the interest of everyone. Here is a list of the new and continuing projects in Yeniboğaziçi.


     

    4ever Green, Dörter Construction

    Dörter Construction upholds modern design and aesthetics which can also be seen in their new Project 4ever Green. The company has completed two other villa projects in the area that have been popular with buyers.     Uzun Group has completed many projects in the Famagusta and Iskele areas and has a profile fit to meet the needs of these growing areas. This Project, located opposite Yeniboğaziçi Park, consists of two 9 floor apartment blocks and a communal swimming pool.
