Cyprus Spirit + Califorian Restaurant = Maldives Homes

EMU Scholarship Programme with Guaranteed Work from Califorian Restaurants
The new scholarship programme started by Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) on 23rd July 2020 has been given support by Califorian Restaurants. The restaurants have made an important contribution to the project by providing guaranteed work to students awarded the scholarship after they graduate.
EMU and Califorian Restaurants have signed a Student Scholarship Agreement. Assistant Rector, Associate Professor Deniz İşçioğlu and the owner of Califorian Restaurants, Salih Kayım, signed for their respective organisations. Assoc. Prof. İşçioğlu emphasised how the city has benefitted from communications between the university and business people and thanked Califorian Restaurants for its contributions in the EMU scholarship programme. Califorian Restaurants’ owner, Salih Kayım said, “If we have gained through universities then we should give back to society with a service of some sort. I would like to thank EMU for signing such a meaningful agreement. Students given the scholarship will be guaranteed work. Their jobs at the Califorian Restaurants will be waiting for them as soon as they graduate.
