The Courtyard Long Beach project, which has handed over keys and also opened a hotel and restaurant for the summer season, has become a firm favourite of the region.
Located in İskele, one of the most popular tourism areas of the island, Courtyard Long Beach is within walking distance of the most beautiful and legendary of Cyprus’s beaches. Combining a seaside lifestyle together with its own facilities, Courtyard offers a five-star experience to both its homeowners and holidaymakers alike.
Courtyard was built by Döveç Construction, one of Northern Cyprus’s leading construction companies, in the Long Beach area of İskele with the vision of becoming the ‘new holiday town’ of the island. İskele Municipality's investments on the beach, with children’s playgrounds, walking trails, bicycle tracks and revamped beach facilities, stretching over a 2km long section of coast, have made the region a magnet for seaside leisure for miles around.
Courtyard Long Beach, located only a 600 metre walk to the sea, has a central courtyard with landscaping, pool, restaurant, playgrounds and other outdoor activities; acting as the main focus of the project and offering a huge social area. In the 500 metre perimeter behind the blocks an area has been created for both a bicycle and walking trail in addition to the electric vehicle charging station and parking lot.
The design of Courtyard Long Beach has been deliberately planned with openness in mind. Passageways under the buildings allow cool summer winds from the sea into the courtyard and provide for microclimate conditions. All apartments, ranging from studio flats to 3-bedroom apartments, have large balconies, ranging between 8 to 20m2 overlooking the courtyard. In order to customize the ground floor apartments’ gardens and to give a sense of separation, a special area is provided with step down access.
On the ground floor of the North Block, where the Courtyard Holiday Resort’s reception is located, there is a gym, indoor heated pool, games room, spa, sauna, Turkish bath, massage rooms, beauty centre and other communal facilities. In addition to the hotel rooms, there are also options for various apartment types to be reserved for short-term rental within the project, offering the opportunity of Courtyard style family holidays.
Delicious Restaurant, which operates in the northwest corner of the courtyard, serves both those using the sun loungers by the pool and to wider community, with outdoor and indoor dining tables. The food menu is prepared with a choice of special selections from the world of cuisine, whilst the cocktail menu offers recipes that will refresh you in the heat of Cyprus.
To cement the credentials of Courtyard Long Beach as truly the place to visit, at the 2019 Propertync Awards, where an international panel of judges looks to award accolades to all sectors of the construction industry, Döveç Construction was chosen as the Best Construction Company in North Cyprus and Courtyard Long Beach was deemed worthy of the Best New Project Award.
