The Casa Del Mare project by NorthernLAND embodies the future of tourism with its innovative and sustainable approach. In a recent interview with Taruz Güçlüer, the CEO of NorthernLAND, we uncovered exciting details about their latest project. We gained valuable insights about the innovations and impact this new project will bring to the industry.
First of all, congratulations on your new project. Can you tell us about the features of your project?
First of all, I would like to thank Propertync for this interview. Let me provide you with the details of our project, Casa del Mare project, located in the unique seafront location of Esentepe, and it is a special project. This exclusive project offers a wide range of residential options, including studio apartments, 1+1 loft penthouses, 1+1 pool houses, 2+1 pool houses, and hotel rooms. In addition to the seafront infinity pools, there are also luxurious bungalow-type villas and duplex villas available. The project consists of a total of 1,600 units.
As part of the project, we have established the Pera Restaurant in the Long Beach area, which serves as a tourism facility. This multifunctional space is designed to accommodate various needs. It includes a restaurant, a spa, a gym area, and an indoor swimming pool. Furthermore, there are heated outdoor swimming pools available for use during the winter months and beach pools. Pera Restaurant provides a delightful atmosphere where guests can enjoy entertainment, dining, and a café experience.
Our project also includes facilities for various sports activities, such as paddle tennis, walking trails, and a multi-purpose sports court. Additionally, we have taken into consideration the needs of our furry friends. In all our projects, we prioritize creating facilities where pets can roam freely, meet their needs, and receive proper care.
Why did you choose Esentepe as a location?
Casa Del Mare project is located in the Esentepe region because it is conveniently close to both Girne (Kyrenia) and the airport. This region is known for its natural beauty, and our project aims to enhance this beauty even further. Being situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city and directly on the waterfront is a significant advantage.
Can you explain the "tourism" concept of your project?
We strive to reflect the concept of "buy to let," which is the new name for tourism, in all of our projects. Our country is a tourism destination, so we can say that we are selling them like hotels by increasing the accommodation capacities. The most important goal in creating these projects is to contribute to the country's economy and tourism.
Can you provide information about your customer profile?
Our customer profile is quite diverse. We cater to individuals looking for vacation homes or second homes, those looking to purchase their primary residences, investors, and individuals interested in "buy to let" opportunities. In our recent sales, we have reached customers from 43 different countries, ranging from Canada to South Africa. This is a significant achievement for us and demonstrates the strength of our sales and marketing efforts.
How has the feedback been for the Casa Del Mare project?
The demand for Casa Del Mare exceeded our expectations. We had received significant demand during the launch of Block F in the Grand Sapphire project, but Casa Del Mare surpassed that figure. In short, I can say that we broke our own record. We are very pleased with our sales figures.
What is the targeted completion time for the project?
We aim to complete the Casa Del Mare project in approximately 3 years. We are planning to deliver the houses to their owners in June 2026. However, we intend to make the multi-purpose tourism facility, Pera, available for use earlier.
