We Visited the Construction Site of West Park
Kyrenia's west side will be shaped by West Park, which will be completed by the end of the year.
We visited the construction site of West Park, the residential-commercial complex project of Emtan Construction in Alsancak, Girne, and got information about the process of the project from the Construction Manager Architect, Süleyman Vehbi.
The commercial part of the West Park project, which leads us to dream of a pleasant future with the atmosphere it will provide to the region since its announcement, emerges with architecture that can be described as an open-air shopping center. Behind the commercial area, close to the sea, there are semi-detached duplex villas. In total, there are fourteen 2-bedroom and six 3-bedroom residences gathered into seven blocks.
According to Süleyman Vehbi, they are planning to complete the construction by the end of the year. Further, he stated that, "After the carcass, we completed the basic structure part by building the walls, and the garden walls are currently under construction." Interior and exterior plastering have been completed, the suspended ceiling floors have been completed, and air conditioning systems have been installed; putty plastering is also nearing completion. Simultaneously, the commercial unit's roof is insulated and the ground concrete is poured; infrastructure work for this section still continues. We planted our palm trees that arrived last week, and according to our estimates, our landscape will be ready when the construction is completed.
We are also starting to plan the road that will run in front of the two-bedroom villas. We intend to build a small botanical garden next to our three-bedroom front-row villas. When finished, it will be a pleasant corner. In the following weeks, we will prepare to work on the fine details and complete the project.”
Emtan Construction’s experienced Construction Manager stated that, "Regardless of the recent increases in construction costs, we ensure that all materials and workmanship in the project are completed on time and as promised. In spite of the mark-up in insulation materials, we will not make any concessions on Emtan's quality." As Süleyman Vehbi mentioned, they will rent the units in the shopping center of the project as a company and that he also has surprise plans for the roof terrace in the future.
