Interview with Erdem Yunusoğlu | Aphrodite Wellness Resort
We met with Erdem Yunusoğlu, Sales and Marketing Director for Evergreen Developments Group, one of the most prominent construction companies on the island, to find out about their Aphrodite Wellness Resort project and their future plans.

- First of all, we want to learn how you decide when choosing the locations of your projects. What kind of future do you see there, especially when we consider the investments you have made in Güzelyurt?
- Your new project, Aphrodite Wellness, now appears as a large complex with facilities unlike any other on the island. Can you share some details of this private health centre?
Yes, Aphrodite Wellness is a one of a kind project for North Cyprus, the main difference here is the focus on holistic wellness, anti-ageing and rejuvenation, diagnostics, IVF and a whole host of surgical procedures. Aphrodite Wellness will be the largest wellness and medical centre facility in the Mediterranean.
The pandemic has highlighted the importance of lifestyle and chronic disease prevention, increasing demand for “immune boosting,” lifestyle medicine, and integrative approaches. Additionally medical tourism has seen substantial growth over the last five years.
At Aphrodite we will incorporate wellness as part of post-surgery recovery and rehabilitation, providing medical patients with offerings like meditation, yoga, exercise, nutrition, energy healing, body work to mention just a few. All of these services will be offered in an environment that is less sterile, less institutional by being more hospitality and spa based which we believe will aid in recovery.

One of Europe's largest and most advanced wellness and anti-aging centers is located in the heart of the Mediterranean, in Northern Cyprus. The Aphrodite Wellness Resort project offers a life like a vacation with its seaside location and will be equipped with many facilities. The coastline in this project will have the longest among all others, extending for 36 kilometers, with the goal of bringing healthy lifestyles to a new level.
This massive project, which has begun its construction in the Gaziveren region of Lefke, will comprise a total of 604 residences. The project, which is planned to be completed in 36 months, has studio, 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartment options.
Aphrodite Wellness Resort, which creates an atmosphere that facilitates homeowners to live better, feel better, and look better, will provide high-level services with hotel-like facilities.
- What can you tell us about the contribution of Aphrodite Wellness to Northern Cyprus, together with your previous projects in Güzelyurt?
"We have created an ‘Aphrodite Experience’ package in partnership
with local businesses and producers."
- You have many completed, ongoing and planned projects in the east of Kyrenia. Can you tell us about the projects that are on the agenda right now?
"Each of these developments are centred around a focus
of sustainability and wellness."
- Finally, we would like to ask about the future plans of Evergreen Developments Group. What will we see in the future within the scope of the services you provide as a company and the projects you plan?
